Announcing: The Ripple Fellowship
A NEW FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY LAUNCHED TO CREATE EQUITABLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION
Long Valley, New Jersey – The Ripple Center, a new type of educational ecosystem where socially conscious individuals come together to explore and implement change, has announced that applications are now open for The Ripple Fellowship, a fully-funded 9-month program for 18-24 year olds interested in social entrepreneurship.
The Ripple Center launched in 2021, to fill an educational gap and prepare tomorrow’s leaders. Spearheaded by Mike Chodroff, a New Jersey native with more than 25 years experience in education, entrepreneurship and environmental affairs, The Ripple Center’s mission is to mold social impact entrepreneurs through experiential education in order to disrupt existing systems and create a better world for people and the planet.
The Ripple Fellowship will offer young adults the opportunity to learn about the systems that shape our society, through the lens of impactful leaders in business and the public sector, with mentorship, immersive travel experiences, and a weekly curriculum as part of the fully-funded 9-month experience. Applications are open from November 1, 2021 through February 15, 2021, when selected finalists will be notified if they are selected for interviews. The Fellowship itself will begin in August 2022, and will culminate in April 2023. The first cohort will be comprised of 15-20 exceptional young adults from around the United States, who are uniquely poised to create long-lasting change both locally and globally.
“We need young changemakers from all over our country. In nature, diversity is what creates a healthy ecosystem. In social entrepreneurship, diversity is what drives positive impact across all industries,” shared Mike Chodroff, Founder & CEO of The Ripple Center. “When business leaders are intentional about the impact of their decisions, the planet and its people will be the benefactors. This Fellowship will mold these types of leaders so that each passing year, the possibilities for true global change will grow exponentially.”
Applications to The Ripple Fellowship are open to all residents of the United States ages 18-24 that have a desire and a commitment to impact people and the planet through social entrepreneurship. Fellows may be enrolled in full time colleges or universities, working young professionals, or may be taking time off to explore new opportunities.
If you know an 18-24 year old who may be interested in The Ripple Fellowship, please encourage them to apply on the Ripple Center’s application page.
As a brand new organization, The Ripple Center is actively seeking donations from those who recognize that significant global changes happen by equipping young leaders with the right tools.
