Sophie Janaskie

Sophie Janaskie is a Carbon Strategy Manager at Joro, where she works to advance Joro's methodologies to empower people to measure, reduce, and remove their collective emissions. She is passionate about carbon data and democratizing tools for decarbonization. Before working at Joro, Sophie served as an Environmental Innovation Fellow at Yale's Center for Business and the Environment, where she worked to build the environmental entrepreneurship ecosystem on campus via programming, coaching, funding, and outreach. She also served as a Venture for America Fellow in Philadelphia, where she worked at an early-stage greentech startup. Sophie holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and a Masters in Environmental Management from Yale, as well as an MBA from Stanford.
